Veritone acquires VocaliD, voice creator with artificial intelligence

Extension of the multi-award winning Veritone voice solution with new features – enabling the development of the synthetic voice of the iconic Walter Cronkite.

VocaliD will enhance Veritone’s existing synthetic voice offerings for commercial enterprises including brands, podcasters, broadcasters, studios, publishers and enterprises.

With the addition of VocaliD, Veritone Voice has the ability to control and manage the entire voice creation lifecycle for greater efficiency and scale. Built on Veritone’s aiWARE, Veritone Voice has the unique ability to work with third-party AI models seamlessly, allowing VocaliD model integration to be leveraged instantly. VocaliD’s robust voice models and exclusive voice adjustment and audio mixing features built into Veritone Voice extend the enterprise-grade solution while reducing complexity, cost and management time.

Veritone and VocaliD have teamed up with the Cronkite domain and New York Times bestselling author Joe Garner to create the synthetic voice model of iconic American journalist Walter Cronkite for use in educational projects.
