Up to six man-made Caribbean-style lagoons could come to the Atlanta area following a deal between the Atlanta developer Tenth Street BusinessesCrystal Lagoons and Atlanta-based private equity firm EcoVest Capital Inc.

“Our man-made lagoons and PAL™ projects have been a real hit with the American public and have quickly caught on, especially in Florida and Texas,” said Ivan Manzur, senior vice president of sales for Crystal Lagoons in the States. -United. Press release. “Residents of Georgia and North Carolina, facing hot and humid summers, will now be able to enjoy tropical beach life just steps from home.”

Tenth Street has recently been an active multi-family developer in Atlanta. This offers a 20-story mixed-use tower for Midtown and just held a ribbon cutting for 12Hundred Studios, a 40-unit affordable community in Hunter Hills.

Crystal Lagoons touts the environmental sustainability of its parks, which are single-fill, closed-loop reservoirs that can use any type of water (sea, brackish, and fresh).
