ROD STEWART took center stage in the Scottish Cup fifth round draw, and he was in a particularly happy mood.
The rock legend was a special guest to help remove the balls at the Excelsior Stadium, just after Celtic claimed a 3-0 win over Albion Rovers.
Joined by Alan Stubbs for the live draw on Sky Sports, the 72-year-old was in high spirits, leaving social media struggling with his antics over whether or not he had a few drinks before participating.
The longtime Hoops fan would have been delighted his side took the win today – and more so they avoided the bitter Rangers.
Celtic will face Inverness Caledonian Thistle, while rivals Old Firm have been drawn against Morton at home.
There’s also potential Edinburgh derby at stake if Hearts defeats Raith Rovers in their rerun – they’ll play Hibernian at Easter Road.
Hilariously, not only did Stewart stagger while reading the names of the clubs, Stubbs had great difficulty reading the correct numbers.
Fans couldn’t believe what they were seeing, here are some of the best tweets.
