Jio Institute Launches Postgraduate Programs in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Digital Media

The Jio Institute has called for applications for its one-year full-time postgraduate (PGP) programs in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI and DS), and Digital Media and Marketing Communication (DM and TM). Applicants can apply for the postgraduate courses offered by the Jio Institute through the official website – jioinstitute.edu.in. To apply for the PG program, applicants will need to click on the “Apply Now” link on the Jio Institute official website. The deadline to apply is May 20, 2022.

The PGP program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is designed for early-career professionals who aspire to become well-rounded data scientists – well-equipped for a variety of roles, including AI researchers, data scientists as well as entrepreneurs industrial and social. While the Digital Media and Marketing Communications program is designed for early-career professionals who aspire to careers in areas such as marketing communications, brand consulting, digital marketing, marketing analytics, and research on consumers, the Jio Institute said in a statement.





AI and DS candidates must have completed at least one undergraduate course in Computer Science/Computer Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Economics, while DM and MC candidates must have at least a three-year undergraduate degree in any discipline. For both programs, one must have obtained a minimum of 50% or the equivalent of the GPA in graduation and at least 18 months of relevant work experience by July 1, 2022.

Applicants are required to pay an application fee of Rs 2500 for the Jio Institute (JET) entrance test. The JET 2022 will include multiple-choice questions based on quantitative aptitude and verbal ability, and a section on writing skills. Alternatively, a candidate can also submit a valid GRE test result.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal online interview. Final selection will be based on a holistic evaluation of past academic record, answers to essay questions, statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, relevance of work experience, extracurricular activities, awards, and distinctions, performances in JET and personal interview.
